​Q. What is antimicrobial technology?
The word antimicrobial is used to describe substances which demonstrate the ability to reduce the presence of microbes, such as bacteria, virus and other pathogens. Antimicrobial technology describes the collective knowledge, expertise and methods of using such substances to create products or spaces that are protected against microbes after application for a given period of time.

The key components in our product are silver nanoparticles, which are suitable to deploy on a broad range of products such as wood, metal, plastic, fabric, ceramics etc.

Silver is a highly effective natural agent. Silver nanoparticle technology is already present in everyday products (cell phones, touch screens, textiles, clothing, etc.) and has been proven safe to humans, animals, and plants.

Q. Is this treatment proven to kill all the microbes?
The product in this treatment is an active anti-microbial agent. During tests, it is proven to effectively eliminate 99.9%+ bacteria, virus and other pathogens for long periods of time. All tests have been performed by a NABL ISO 17025 lab accredited laboratory. The vital reports will be shared as per requirement.

Q. Is this treatment safe to use?
Yes, we only use antimicrobial products that have the necessary global regulatory approvals for anti-microbial coatings for general use articles. Of all available technologies in the market, our antimicrobial technology is one of the safest available for human contact**

​Q. Will this treatment kill SARS-COV-2?
Our product is formulated from silver and non-migratory cationic disinfectants and its antiviral testing have been performed via a third-party NABL and ISO 1702 certified laboratory for various types of viruses where it has shown the efficacy of more than 99.9%. These nanoparticles and disinfectants have been proven to be effective against a broad range of bacteria and viruses.
Currently, in India as well as globally, the testing on a human pathogenic strain of coronavirus is not feasible. We are already in talks with the labs in the US and UK to test on a surrogate virus used in laboratories as a close but safer alternative to the human strain, we are awaiting results on the same.

​Q. How do you test the effectiveness of the treatment?
All our antimicrobial products undergo a rigorous validation process through third-party NABL accredited ISO-certified laboratories to prove that the technology is working to our required standards before products get to market. On the application areas, the product efficacy can be measured using ATP testing machines which provide instant results.
​Q. Can this treatment be done on the entire facility?
Our anti-microbial treatment is typically meant for sensitive areas which are open to common usage and where the risk of contamination is more through contact. Some of the highly sensitive areas include - doors, elevators, reception, guardrooms, switches and buttons, furniture, etc.
*The efficacy of the product is 90 days on all mentioned surfaces when applied following recommended guidelines. On hard surfaces, cleaning should be done using a dry or wet cloth. Use of detergent should be avoided.
